The Dreaded Flu

Influenza B tends to infect children more than adults and we all know the children of our community have been affected by this nasty virus this year.  Katie Godsey, Infection Prevention Manager at PCMH, says it is not too late for parents to decide to get the flu shot for their children.  She also emphasized that influenza is most risky for children under 5 years of age.  Here is a resource from the CDC along with a link that provides a little more detail on protecting and caring for your children.
